For just fishing bait, the SX is a little powerhouse. Ive winched in 40lb. class yellows, 50lb. class WSB, as well as 50lb. Yellowfin with it. Fill it with 40 or 50 lb. spectra and you are golden.

For fishing iron i would get an MXJ or MXL they have the same gear ratio but the spool on the SX is smaller creating a slower retrieve.
