I'm here in Asuncion today (Monday). It was a beautiful day on the water! Calicos were wide open and even boiling on little balls of bait on the lee side of the small island in front of Shari's. Some big ones too! Also saw a dorado chasing a halfbeak only about 30 feet in front of my yak. Same spot. I tried casting a 4" croc for a while, but no luck (on the dorado).

The predicted Santa Ana's picked up about 2:00 and blew hard off shore. Tomorrow is supposed to be Santa Ana's again, but it's a travel day for me, so no worries. I am heading down to Abreojos, but may try to make it back at the end of the week to fish with you guys at San Roque.

Temps are great 80 day, 65 night approx.
