Claremont's a good idea, I like fishing that stretch better than North of the pier. I'd rather catch a bucketful of smelt in the bay instead of making the three mile round trip to the bait barge.

Wind

Afternoon wind picks right at 12ish and can blow hard . If you want a sample of the wind , go watch Para-Gliders surfing chop .
