Just a heads up that we just put in business yet another anti-spam measure. Hopefully it will slow down those annoying phone ads and other crap.

This one is cool as it checks all new user's registration IP / forum name / email against the known database of spammer's IPs/forum usernames/emails. If it finds the match, it rejects the registration right away.

Not that we had this amount of spammers actually end up registering accounts on BWE every day (multiple other anti-spam measures have been stopping the vast majority), but this new Mod actually lets us see these rejected spammers/bots attempts to register on the forum in real time....
