Yea the way the racks are it would be impossible,kinda like this \____/, It squeezes it from both sides so it cant slide backwards or forwards. Also the point of the kayak would hit the trim of the cab right above the window. That was my big worry when making it. That bar going up and down has a few holes in different positions of height incase I want to raise it more.
