How long did you watch the cam? Sometimes with long period swell like this, there is 5, even 10 minutes between the sets. Take note of where the surfers are sitting in relation to where the waves are breaking.
Then again the long period swell usually makes for an easy launch at the shores.

I looked at cam for 2 mins and then looked at other websites and about 10 mins later looked again.

The surf is still pretty high . Is it gonna come down in time for our coming trip? You are still planing to go? I hoping some of your beginners magic will rub off on me . .The web site I am looking at only gives 3 days prediction. How far ahead can you see? Thanks buddy .

yes, I am still planing to go
The reports are updated roughly every 8 hours, so the report constantly changes, but the forecast for friday has been pretty consistant since last friday.

It was hell out there today!!! Almost got a sunburn! It was ridiculously flat out there with tons of bait. Water was very clear on top, but only about 5 foot visibility on the bottom. Got a couple sharks, and that was it for me.
