These boats had hatches that were not production models so we really cant say how well the hatches seal. The boats being a prototype nature have pinholes and leaks in them making seeing this stuff hard to judge. Plus I played for hours in the surf and any boat would have leakage issues.

Overall I will say that you will find this hatch leaking to be non-issue
