The single biggest factor (in my experience) of catching fish in the bays, is tide movement. The tide will move during the time span you noted above but when and by how much? Too little or too much movement can be bad. My preference is anything between 3 - 5 ft. You can catch fish on a slack tide as well, just not as often. It can be difficult planning your trips around tides but you will find when you do, your days, on average will produce more fish.fficeffice" />>>
