If you select 83/200 you will get a split screen 83 on one side 200 on the other.

200 will give more detail. 83 will have more coverage.

If you are fishing in say 80 ft. with the 83/200 split screen and you drop your sabki down you would likely only see it on the 83 side of the screen.
Now that may not make sense but unless you fish with no currant or wind the jig will be out of the 200 cone.

I use the 200 setting for lake and bay fishing.
