Kayak is loaded on the truck, blue and white salas is tied to the yoyo stick, 300yards fresh izorline 30lb spooled onto reel, secondary rig is set with 6oz weight, three way swivel and 18" 30lb fluoro, on the business end is a large squid head that is fluorescent with artificial squid that will be topped with dead squid purchased from turners. Game plan is to paddle at grey light, out to and past the lobster traps, drag the artificial squid jig setup with two dead Squid attached and monitor fish finder for structure and activity. I'm hoping for three hours of solid hard fishing before heading back to the launch.
