Unfortunately I believe that shimano no longer does lifetime warranty any longer. There were lots of people abusing the program. I've heard that they switched it to one year, but if u have an older model the lifetime warranty is still good. All hearsay though.

If its not one the older rods (lifetime) they will place for 50-100 dollars.
