However, I will be thanking for myself for putting in a 7.5 hour shift on the water after only 4hrs of sleep.

Sequence of events:
1. It's just after 1200 and I've been on the water since just before 5am
2. I have my last two live baits in the water
3. Rod on the right gets hit by the right kind just the wrong size
4. I snap a photo of the little fella and toss him back
5. I cut my sinker off of that rod and put it away, just about ready to call it a day
6. The rod on the left has a small shake, goes limp and has another shake
7. Since the line is drifting under my kayak I pull it out of the Orca and hold it out on my right side
8. rod shakes, shakes a little harder, loads up and the line starts screaming off the reel
9. I fight the fish for 5 min on a light-medium action Teramar rod, it made 4 runs and each time I prayed that it wouldn't bust off. To be quite honest I was really praying for a halibut but I'll take what I get

Nice one

Congrats! I still don't have the patience for Halibut or WSB. I guess that is why I am not catching any.

This Adult Onset ADD is killing my fish mojo for these babies!

Nice work. It's great when the long hours on the water pays off. I've got to get me one of those...What kind of shoes are they?
