I’m glad I’m done with those 16 hour days and working on Fraterdays... I’m using a small spinning reel with 8 pound PowerPro attached to a really small barrel swivel then about 3 feet of 4 pound blue label flouro...then the HUB,
I’m trolling the 1/16 black gold about 75’ back and using another set up with a 1/32 HUB in the hand and constantly jigging it...i usually get bit as it’s dropping back on the jigging action...I miss a lot of bites...LOL Quote:

I set some crawfish traps last night and checked em today...a few had about 12 to 15 Crawdads so I’m letting them soak another night.
Fishing was WFO this morning during the hatch...it looked like fog so many critters were hatching and the trout of all sizes were jumping all over in front of Rush Creek...I C & Rd a few before the sun hit it and the show was over... The downrigger didn’t produce today... I did manage a 3.5 pounder this afternoon at the upper end of the lake...
