Noted. I will keep an eye out for either. I have a gift card to bass pro and unfortunately they don't sell daiwa rods (I know wierd), but I will look around and if I gotta pay out of pocket it is what it is. On second thought I had a 670, it a was a good halibut rod. I got it from Mike here on the forum but it was cut down to 7' and it was a jig stick. Not sure where the length was taken from but I felt like it needed to be wrapped higher up. Maybe that's why I didn't like it. Also, @full flavor pike I plan to fish 65 on this set up because it's going to be an everything kind of rig. I will also fish it on boats, not just my kayak, so I think a 15-40, 20-40, 20-50 would be great. Maybe even favoring the heavier side for the yoyo.
