While I do not like what they are doing to the dolphins, it is limited to an area and the species of dolphins are not endangered. There are species of dolphins going extinct due to habitat destruction and commercial fishing practices that should get the same or more attention but are not.

Now when it comes to the reasons they give for hunting whales on the open ocean, that is just wrong. I think that we have some Seawolf-class attack subs that could use the torpedo practice on large ships or testing of next-generation Harpoon anti-ship missiles...
