It's seriously time for folks to step up. It was disappointing to see how many regulars never got involved in the last rounds. It's understandable that some people can't attend the meetings, but there are other ways to support. If you can't attend in person write letters or talk someone else into going. We made a difference last time and we can this time also. The more people we have that present themselves in a respectful manner to stand up for smart decisions (based on science not emotion) the better our chances for success.

I enjoy fresh seafood and I want a sustainable harvest and ecosystem. Nothing more or less. I completely support the DFG enforcing the regulations required to maintain a sustainable ecosystem. Let's set up the DFG to do their job with slot limits or whatever is required to manage each species. It seems the 28" minimum and removal of gill nets was a huge success for the SoCal WSB, been enjoying that success at the dinner table!
