For just fishing bait, the SX is a little powerhouse. Ive winched in 40lb. class yellows, 50lb. class WSB, as well as 50lb. Yellowfin with it. Fill it with 40 or 50 lb. spectra and you are golden.
For fishing iron i would get an MXJ or MXL they have the same gear ratio but the spool on the SX is smaller creating a slower retrieve. |

just placed an order last night. the special of paying the CA sales tax for residents only runs through the end of Nov. When I placed the order they still charged me the tax so I had to call back this morning and they are going to refund me that amount
