Kayaker in distress - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I just wanted to share with you all that at approximately 8:45am a call went out from a distressed Kayaker near the entrance to the Los Alamitos bay. Winds were 30-40 mph wind out of the n/e with 2-3ft windchop!

Long Beach Police helicopter located Kayaker and directed LBPD boat to rescue the Kayaker. Kayaker taken to Alamitos bay with mild hypothermia. Please use caution when going out in the wind.
