They sell the plug, but it usually has to be ordered. I did it because hobie didn't offer the 10AH at the time. As for that fickle switch....ditch it! Just hard wire your battery directly to your pump, so when the battery is plugged in the pump runs. I've tried packing the switch with di-grease, and tried some of the other "marine" switches...about the longest they would last is 2-3months (~30trips). With the 8AHr battery I get about 8-9hrs run time, with the 10AHr I get about 12-14hrs run time. As long as you keep your battery/plug dry and lubed with di-electric grease it will last a long time. The sunami pumps seem to hold up pretty well and only seem to fail after around 5-600hrs run-time in saltwater, but they are cheap to replace ($25). Who needs bait anyway?? ![]() |
