Sum Fun. I have many good memories on that boat. Been a long time since iv been on it tho. Ever since I bought my kayak I really haven't been on a open party boat. Seems like a waste to pay the extra money to go on it to fish the same place id fish with my kayak

Ya i hear ya. These were Groupons for 3/4 day with a 7.50 food voucher for 33 dollars. I like to get out on the boats on occasion cause none of my friends have a yak so we just put down some beers and have a good time.

I hear yea. None of my friends have a kayak either so it ends up with me going out solo alot of the time. Need to make friends with some guys on here that go out regularly so I can have some fishing buddy's.

I'll be fishing the Pipe in the morning. Yellow Tarpon 140.

Sum Fun is awesome, I got my nickname while working on that boat.

Well no luck today. Went out found bait at headlands. The monster size smelt were everywhere. After filling the bait tank my fish finder refused to work so I figured since I haven't ever fished dana before i didn't know where the sandy areas were without the finder so I skipped going for halibut and trolled for thresher shark. No bites but the bait did act like it was being chased a few times. Slight breeze with wind chop.
