Someone mentioned to me that I had at least $150 worth of meat. ![]() ![]() There is no way that my family and I can eat that whole fish before it go's bad, so I called a few friend's and parted with what I couldn't eat. |

If you toss the fish in a cooler overnight the meat will firm up and make it easier to cut, and you will get the most from meat from the fish. -They freeze well, so don't worry about it going bad. If you do not have a Vacuum Sealer you can use a 5 Gallon Bucket of Water to Remove All the Air from a ZipLock Freezer bag. -Fill the 5 Gal. bucket 3/4 up with water. -Place clean filet in a freezer bag and zip it closed 3/4 of the way. -Place the bag into the bucket of water and begin to submerge - You will notice the air will be forced out and the bag tighten to the filet. Last Step -Simultaneously dunk the last bit of the bag while zipping closed the final 1/4 of the ZipLock Bag. Instant Vacuum Packed Filet. ![]()
