I'll let you know. I had a Prowler 15 before that did not have a rudder on it and I didn't miss it. I'll play with it Saturday and see if I want to keep it or not. I'll let you guys know.

Well I used the rudder this last weekend and am going to keep it. I recommend investing in one, it really helped me when I was paddling back to the launch against the wind and chop on the water.
