Hej, Jarred
Would have joined you but I went out 8-12 today instead. Early moderate wind picked up before noon, H2O temp 67.7*F, water very murky, 6' swells with comfortable interval, no bait in water, picked up mediocre bait at barge, nice and sunny. I was too lazy to go north so just visited the pipe, doheny, and harbor. Pipe was good for several nice sandies and juvie wsb. Picked up a short hali at doho before the very large surf drove me away to the harbor. I'll wait 'til Fri and try the headlands. Good luck.

DP this last Sunday was one of the most miserable paddles in of my life. The wind current and choppy water made a 30 minute paddle from salt creek to the Marina about 2 hours of grueling nightmare. Fishing deep in the kelp all day kinda fools you. Its alot calmer deep in the forest. Once we left the kelp late afternoon it was apparent we should have payed closer attention to the swell and wind direction

Hey Wayne thanks for the intel.

I did a drive by today down the jetty and while it was windy and there was plenty of swell, it didn't look as bad as I thought it would. Could definitely see how murky the water was though.

Here's the updated forecast for tomorrow
