i'd just like to know what really went down.
if OP rooked it and caused damage, i see NW replacing parts at their discretion and how they have them available. i don't know if NW orders their parts as assemblies or units or in set even qts, but to just expect warranty replacement due to negligence...is well, lo' class. faulty workmanship or damage enroute to customer should be taken care under warranty or like, naturally. would like to know details. not too keen on courageous keyboard kooks complaining about kaos they caused. if companies keep honoring y'alls effups, it makes stuff more expensive for the rest of us that take care of our equipment. OP, details pls, thnx...and congrats on getting what you wanted. |

We all want details but the looks of it, it seems like we won't be back on BWE any time soon.

No doubt!!! His own words tell it all: Thursday Night: " BUYER BEWARE!!! My Native Watercraft Mariner 12.5 is less than 3 months old and the rudder broke off. It is not covered by warranty..." Friday early in the morning: "........I told customer support at Native Watercraft that my only recourse for this situation........ I was going to go onto every kayak site that I could find and share my experience. You can agree with me or not, I don't really care...." Two hours later: "...... I would like to thank Native Watercraft for contacting me this morning and resolving this issue. The internet can be a wonderful thing......" So it looks like one night he went onto every kayak site he could find and bashed Native Watercraft because he couldn't immediately get what he wanted from them. Then the next morning Native Watercraft gave him what he wanted, but for the most part he did not bother to go back to those websites where he bashed them (like this one), and tell everyone that they made it right. Sounds like Native Watercraft has a lot class, maybe more then some. ![]() Jim |
