fishing license lobster report card gauge headlamp gloves vhf radio paddle

Don't forget a pen. Bring a spare as well. I prefer black ink but blue works just as great.

BEFORE I LEAVE MY HOUSE...
kayak, paddle, pfd. hoop nets. (modified with big styrafoam floats for easy visibility) bait cages (made of 3" pvc pipe and chicken wire) bait LOBSTER GUAGE, knife, pliers (pre-packed in ziplock bag) gloves, headlight, beanie, mask (pre- packed i another bag) snacks, water. *pack as much into the kayak hatches as possible... this way... i ensure that i dont forget anything in the car* BEFORE I LAUNCH unpack everything from yak and put it where it belongs. load bait cages and zip-tie them into hoops. LAUNCH AND GO CATCH STUFF!!!

Great lists! but I would add: reflective tape for paddles/jacket/etc. and a whistle (from my old coaching days) that I keep ziptied to my shoulder strap.
