Not your standard skippy we see here in the EPAC.

Awesome Andy. Glad you got out of the rat race for a few.

The ceviche was triggerfish and was the bomb!

Great pics, how was the drive down there,
14 hour drive from Huntington with out stopping, took me 16.5 stopping to pick up in SD, then Tuscon with an hour for lunch, little bit of construction on the toll road south. Loooong ride home as I took my little brother to the airport in Phoenix and then dropped my Dad in Mariposa at my sister's house. Black Skippys and Mexican boneys were in abundance at the island. We caught triggers, spotties, mullet, needlefish, barracuda, golden spotted bass, cabrilla, snappers, pargo, small grouper, grunt, flounder, sculpin and some others. Deep jigging and Krocs in shallower was what I used.

I was wondering how this trip went. Looks like you found the launch spot ok. I take it the yellowtail were not off San Antonio point yet or at the island?

Thanks for the invite, next time for sure. I need to make a run down there soon. Maybe after the holidays. I am jonesing to get out of this desert sand for some salt water!
