The blue tint
Most lings we get are blue but we get some nice yellow tints as well. The Cabezon come in a colar pack up here as well, best part is the meat turns white when its cooked and they still make the best Tacos. Other wise my belly hasnt turned blue yet!!!!

You are what you eat right? Or so they say....
Lived in Monterey for a few years and fished from the rocks through PG, Carmel, and along highway 1 southward. I was told by some guys that the skin/meat literally changes based on their diet. Lots of crabs and chit. Different colored crabs mean different colored meat. any truth to that anyone know? ![]() |
