Very cool. Wade did my sideboards and I like em so much I vowed to never drill into em. Now all I need to do is get em bloody.

You should have kept it - turns out the 39A is the most accurate and sought after rifle for levergun silhouette. They are selling for $600 now in good condition. Dad made the right choice for my 13th birthday back in '74...

I'm thinking of inlaying kelp stringers on both boards in contrasting wood, then putting in WSB, YT and Bass in pearl/abalone. Doing the whole thing in pearl would end up too pimped out I think...

You've got to be kidding me!! mine was Christmas '74 right after my 13th birthday. We moved out to the country and some f---wad broke into the house and stole it. I bought an Anschutz after that-deadly accurate but not as much fun to shoot.

I am going to make Wade's exotic laminate boards. If anyone wants one for your PA or to somehow customize your boat if it's another brand, shoot me a message.

Nice inlay with the Black Walnut but are you worried about your Purple heart oxidizing and turning brown with age?
