chris 5-10lb rocks as weight for the bait? WTF lol can you draw a diagram of how the whole rig looks in the water? I don't need to fish something like that here but I sure am curious to see what it looks like.

the hunt for Tigers...
still isn't working out. they are where i suspected they'd be, but i can't find the ONE! two weeks left in the tournament and i still have the only tiger, so that's a plus.
Friday night around 11pm our hunt began. several runs, one shark bit in half on the way in, two break offs, one spooled reel, seeing and loosing a Mako and one shark on the sand later I returned home at 4:15pm Sunday afternoon. only shark landed for me this weekend. ![]() ![]() ![]() we might as well be called the cub scouts. sorry for not writing out the full report. tired and a little frustrated. hopefully i'll make up for it next week. Still the best way i could have spent my weekend. Tight lines guys! 8)

its just like a carolina rig with a snap swivel, either sliding or fixed, wrap 12lb mono around the rock, tie a loop and connect. the 12lb will break away on the rock when its jerked and the rock gets left behind.
