Where do you launch from. Thinking of doing the o.b. kelp on Saturday.

When I went out the last time we launched out of Mariners Way. I have also heard you can launch from Mission Point Park but have never personally launched from there myself.

When I fish the jetty, I normally leave out of Ventura Cove park, but I want something closer, I was thinking I'd try mariners.

mission point is the closest. park in the cul de sac and bring wheels, theres a short pull down the bayside boardwalk to the beach. the start of the jetty is only a couple hundred feet away.
if you go out on a week day this week and the tide is timed right, let me know? i would like to tag along. wouldnt mined going north and hitting the wrecks.
better have good sand tires if your going to mariners

This is where I launch at also and like Roadx stated, bring your wheels. I normally paddle from there to the bait barge, and than paddle out. I like having the dines when I go out of there.

Thanks to all. Am planning to go out Sat. And yes, I have sand wheels. Don't leave home without them.
