Ok guys, we just got back and it was a big donut! The swell was horrible and the waves were 4-6 ft at the beach. Not only did we get skunked, but I forgot my wallet so we couldn't buy bait! My son was a little disappointed but we made the best of it and scoped out a few spots...I see the potential there...will definitely go back again. Thanks again for all the info!

No sharks, no lizard fish, but it was nice just to get out and fish!

Definitally check the swell and wind before going out but fishing inside of the harbor could be very productive. And I always bring frozen and/or plastic as a backup. You can also pull muscle from docks on your way out.
