I've caught freshwater striper from all of the following.
Colorado river
Silverwood lake
Castaic lake
Pyramid lake
Lake Perris
Lake skinner
Lake Nacimento
California aquaduct
Diamond Valley res.

Plus Lake Elsinore has a healthy wiper population.
