Ahh didn't even think about those basters..... So if I went with the flat ones I assume I have to clip it down in a manager that woudn't allow it to fip on its backwards correcty?

You could buy male and female grates and put it together. I drilled out the sides as well. My gut feel is there's not enough water flow through it to get the juices moving away from my traps...I use the cheapy carabiner clips on two sides.
