The pigs come out at night
No tape measure or weight, but it was a pig.
I'm going to be hitting up the big bay Sat night. Should be a decent current and hoping for a good bite.

Hey all, got a Big Bay report for you...
First of all, Well done Linglifter! I launched out of SI last night and tonight. I am happy to announce that I landed my first Halibut! It was a short but I was still stoked!! The fishing has been pretty good on the bay as far as I'm concerned. Got 3 legal spotties which all are still enjoying their life, 10 shorts and a Scuplin. All these fish were caught on plastics in the afternoon to about 7pm or so both outings. Still on the hunt for the pig Sand bass and have been trying hard to no avail. I have to be honest, fishing the sundowner into the night bite has been quite the treat! I missed more fish than I landed and can't wait for tomorrow after work to give it another go... As an added addition to my luck I landed my first Lobster Hoop net! Looks brand new and must have been lost within the last couple of days. I hooked it on a 5" sardine colored big hammer. Unfortunately it didn't have any tasty bugs inside.. ![]() |
