Great reel once you get use to it (which takes some time) and a definite advantage over star drag . But, I need to replace the pinion bearing about every 1 1/2 yrs.

Put thumb on spool and adjust. People tend to think they are complicated, but really they are very simple to use and they are also bomb proof.
