Open Bay Bass 2014 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

I sure hope the boaters keep their eyes open at the start, there's a baby whale stuck in the bay and I sure would hate for someone to hit it. Anyway, I really can't wait for this one, the breakfast is always fun and good, the fishing is always fun, and the awards lunch is fun as well. Let's hope a Kayaker wins it all this year.

Some how I forgot to mention that this year the $500 voucher that OEX is sponsoring in the kayak division is being split. Although you would know if you read the entry form.
Some kayak fisherman will win $250 just for entering, this will be in the raffle. The Kayak division winner will receive $250 voucher and may win more as they place against the boaters as well as the biggest spotty and biggest bass over all. I hope we see more than 1 kayaker up at the podium tomorrow afternoon!

That's a very cool prize. I wish the fishing was better.

Well it worked for me! 4 legal sandies and 2 legal spoties and Ken is dethroned

My best in the OBB by far. Plan C worked

Thanks OEX and some of the usual suspects and some newbies for showing up and giving it a shot, and coffee and breakfast at the launch was a great way to start the day.
