Greg, in my 66 years on this planet I have seen it like this once before also in Gonzaga. That was 15 years ago. So many species in the same area, all hungry all at the same time. I think some of the younger guys on BWE could have done 100 fish a day. 20+ fish an hour was possible on this trip. I hope that all of you get a chance to experience a bite like this at least once in your lives, and BTW this was again a FULL MOON trip.

The low daily temperatures were in the low 90's and high 80's. Friday and Saturday the humidity went up.
It did rain lightly Sunday night, and some on the drive home Monday. It had something to do with the hurricane in the Pacific. But the temp never went down. In the week we drank nearly fifty gallons of water, and unknown number of soda and gator aid. The water temp was 85 degrees. I think El Nino has a positive effect on fishing in the Sea of Cortez, like here locally.

Oh yeah, that rooster next door. It kept crowing every half hour the entire week, which made it easy to get every morning at 4:00 AM.
Around 11:00 AM everyday the wind blew in the high teens and low twenties and would die back down to four or five MPH around 5:00 PM. It was too strong to stay on the water in a kayak midday. We got in about seven hours, split between two session on the water. 27-28 inch orange mouth corvina were caught fishing from shore.
