I'm going to check it out as well and figure out if worth taking kayak down but like Andy said the window is small and you can't be on the water past noon as wind always gets nasty.

Good luck guys!
Don't plan on staying long. If everything works out I'll be in the water by 6am and off by 8am, hopfully with some extra cargo. Conditions look good according to my wind alert & surf app, but you never know until you get out there.

14ft swell right now from 290deg at pt conception, if it gets down around 275 itll likely be pretty good size tomorrow. Buoy in santa monica showing 5ft at 250-260deg, which is decent, prob head high at most west facing breaks. County can be hit or miss from looking at reports, I found the most telling to be the two buoys I just listed, or of course looking at the cam.

If you go this weekend be prepared for big swell. County has been hit and miss. Today no fish taken. Andy is correct in his assessment about county sometimes. People do break into your cars and literally saw off you catalytic.
