Opinions on HDS 5 & 7 Gen 2 - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

HDS 5 is good for me on PA14. But I have it mounted on gunwale. I can see how it might be helpful to have the bigger screen if forward mounted.

I have an HDS 5 and wish I had spent a couple hundred more to get the 7.

I have the 5. Bigger is better.
