Yea might have been a sea lion, especially if you were in the harbor. Outside I don't usually see too many of them, and when I do I pull up my bait and they don't stick around. I always hear them coming before it's too late. It's those damn scuba diving birds that get me more than the sea lions, but I've yet to have one of them break me off. I wasn't able to make it out yesterday, shooting for Saturday.

It was DEFINITELY not a seal lion. It had nasty head shakes. lol I've hooked up on those before. I was fishing the Headland area when i hooked up. I don't waste my time in the harbor when there's some real fish a few minutes out.
