I was just wonder if any one has heard if or seen a yellowtail count like this on a kayak before. I have yet to hear of a better score.

That's because most of the guys that are in the know, don't keep more than a couple yellows, i like to think of it as showing some respect to not just the fish but the spot, some people aren't content enough with that though

I killed these fish cuz I love fish n we needed a min of 20 pounds to can. This is my first year ever catching yellows in LA Jolla but iv def put my time in there for the last few years. I'm a huge fan of catch and release tho these 6 fish didn't get the chance. I did release 2 after I got these fish.

What an amazing day and not a "firecracker" among them! Did you take any video? That's something to be archived. Days like those don't happen often even on the boats.
Even more is that you didn't have to fight the sea dogs for any! Just wondering who else they were bothering.
On a personal question, HOW IN THE DEVIL DID YOU LAND WITH THAT LOAD? ? ?

Interesting........ Just came.back from tbird. No luck for me and a ton of other guys. They guys that did get lucky had some real toads I believe heaviest yellowfin was 70lbs 12or 14 fish were caught between 28 of us. Weather was horrible we were getting tossed around like a washing machine. Boat even got some air a few times at least the front end lol
