[QUOTE=tamddo714;236753]Finally got the chance to hit up the jewel with a buddy of mine and both our first time. Launching this morning was a bit scary but made it out fine. Made only three macs and headed out. Landed my first yellow from a kayak in about 150 ft of water ended my day by noon and headed in. Landing was a success so overall a pretty good day.
To successfully launch and land in some of the medium to large surf that been at LJ lately and on your first trip land a nice Yellow, is not a "good day", it is a GREAT DAY! You'll remember this day above a lot of others. Congrats man.
