Maybe you should have gone over to her and politely asked if she was a vegetarian. Most likey the answer would be yes. Then matter of factly told her that 10 of Millions of insects of rodents die agonizing and violent deaths farming fields to grow her vegetables. Then give her the stick eye and yell, "MURDERER!!"

Probably wouldn't put it into perspective for her, but it might be kind of fun
