Alberto is better than the albright

Its actually the same knot. They just call it a reverse or improved albright. Alberto is another name. But those two are the same knots, and the one I use.

Maybe a shark with a powerful tail that wacked it? Did you feel any hard pumps while fighting it?

On the idea of 'bad braid', if it's new and you got both reels spooled at the same time, maybe it was a deffective batch?

That's weird.
