Think you should take it to OEX and have them evaluate it. They can tell you if it is worth fixing or not, how to fix it, or they might be able to fix it. Don't know where you live, but there is one in Mission Bay and one up in the Newport area.

I may be able to patch it with scrap polyethylene, heat gun and a welding iron. Bring it by this weekend if you can and I will look at it. Good video for crack repair, you need to patch it though. Heating up the scrap plastic and the area applying the patch then feather it with an iron to meld them together.
