I launched there yesterday right after Chris. The only problem is later, there isn't the full width of the street so you can't get in to pick up the kayak if the rental kayak trucks are there loading and unloading. Using the south side walk is very doable.

Anyone has updates on the launch area? sorry I haven't been able to get out there but planning to do so superbowl sunday. Thanks in advance.

Was out today. You can pull up to where it's all broke up now, just flip a U and unload from the street. Easy enough to walk the yak over the broken stuff to the sand, even easier with a buddy.
