You declare your division when you sign in. Halibut division is exempt from this.
I think the bait barge is a moot point, but we were asked to declare it off bounds and have. Eddie Howerton told me the big fish are not under the barge any way they are under the surrounding docks ![]() ![]()

Help Needed
Hey guys hope everyone is having a good Friday and excited about the tournament tomorrow. I know was and that's why I'm asking for help. Quick bio... I'm 25, USCG boatswains mate I've been in 6 years and on my 5th living in SD. I just started kayak fishing from a PA14 late last summer. I don't get out as often as I would like due to my secdual. Two days ago I fell on some unfortunate events. Some D*** slashed all 4 of my truck tires Tuesday night and I woke up to my truck setting on all 4 rims Wednesday morning. I dropped my truck off at the dealership to have fixed through my insurance. Needless to say my truck will not be ready till tomorrow Saturday 16th. I live in Claremont just off the 5 between sea world dr and balboa. I'm reaching out bc I really don't want to miss out on this opportunity to fish in the Mission Bay Classic as it will be my last bc I'll be transferring next year. If anyone is available to help transport myself and kayak I'm up to help out with gas, buying bait or a cold 12pack. Your call. If you're available please PM me I'll be on every few hours.

Kleake,
I'm a long time stalker, first time poster. I too live in Claremont and plan on fishing this Saturday. Many people on this site have helped me out and now I have the opportunity to give back. I will be more than willing to help you out as long as your ok with loading your PA on my roof rack cradles. Tim ![]() |

Big first for me. First post, first derby, first trip to SD with my new outback. Looking forward to a good cause, tight lines and great people.

Halibut Rod
I feel fortunate to have won the Halibut Division rod in the raffle.
JeffB did an outstanding job building this rod. The workmanship is incredible. Thank you JeffB! |

I was also fortunate enough to win this new Beautiful Camo X-13; an awesome addition to the arsenal, but even better, my pops does not have to float in his tube no more ![]() This was an awesome event, and even cooler due to the fact all the proceeds go to Disabled Veterans, i will now continue to think of HOW in all my future endeavors. Thank you to all others whom hosted, and I am glad to have been able to participate for sure.. Till next year (;

Thank you to all who came out to the MBKC! I hope all had as great of a time as I did. I wish there was more fish roped in but that's the way it goes. Thank you to OEX for hosting and thank you to all that contributed your time, effort, or any out of pocket expense towards the greater good of a well ran tournament. The veterans that The Southern California Chapter of Heroes On The Water are appreciative of your contribution. Check out the 2016 event dates, and come by! It was a pleasure to spend the day with you. See you next year!
