What brand broke???

What brand of spectra broke? I am new to braid and I want to figure out what brand not to buy. I have read other posts dicussing this topic and want to see if your fate compares.

I was using white powerpro which I have on all my reels and never had a problem. It was 50lb, tackle shop owner could snap it with ease. Bad batch I'm hoping because now I'm worried about my curado 300 which has 40lb. They replaced it with 65lb izor spectra, never used it before but the owner told me this stuff is better than powerpro "I hope so".

You are not the only one to get a bad batch. When I read the reviews on powerpro there were recent problems like yours. It still has a pretty good rating so like you said it was probably a bad batch. The problem is how to know if you got good or bad. Congrats on your 1st YT! I'm still working on it.
