+1 wheeleez all the way...the big balloon wheels for sand. I've seen people use the smaller wheels on PA's and although it does work, the wheels will rub against the hull scratching it pretty bad.

I see this question come up all the time on our local kayak forum and somehow people always don't listen to the advice from the OGs and buy some other junk just to regret it shortly after. Don't be that guy, get the wheeleez.

I would get the new C-Tug Sandtrakz. Supposed to be very effective in the sand and light, can be easily stored in the hatch.

Has been thoroughly tested.

I started out with the Hobie heavy duty wheels and did the modification to keep the wheels off the hull. Work great on launch ramps and pavement, will give you a heart attack trying to pull through sand.

Got the Wheeleze scupper hole cart - works awesome across the sand, but sucks having to roll a loaded PA on it's side to get the stupid cart in!

Building a Wheeleze rail cart right now so no more scupper hole hassle...

Plus I see you like baja. You can tow your kayak with a quad or utv with the wheeliez rail cart. Wouldnt recommend it with the scupper cart, you can damage your yak. Its a good way to get around to and from the remote launch areas
