Nice work.

Would delrin(acetal) be an OK substitute for the 3/4" cutting board?

Mate any of those plastics would work as long as you can use a router to cut channels in it. You can just bolt it all together but I think by recessing the aluminium into the plastic it gives it a bit more strength. The cutting board is very easy and cheap to work with.

I went with a smaller set up and added the light mount. This also helps out with keeping my hoop nets in place. I went with PVC as it wont carrode plus I got it for FREE at a construction site that was throughing it out.
